In 2022, my favourite digital marketing client asked me for a referral to a “nice” website developer who could maintain the systems I created. Did I know any web developers? Yes, heaps. Was I 100% confident recommending any of them? Erm… no.

So I did what any other eldest daughter would do: I became the solution.

I called up a former Physics professor (yes, with the PhD and all) turned frontend developer that I met at a Secret Santa party, and asked her if she was open to work. And that’s how Silvia became employee #1.

4 years later, our team has grown to 4 women who work remotely with all the flexibility that life requires. Why is this important? Because a happy team does good work. A happy team is nice to you, isn’t rushed or stressed or careless, and that’s what we want. We just want to be the nice website makers entrepreneurs look for in time of need.
